About Us

The Lions club of Taylors Lakes was formed in 2010 under the guidance and support of Essendon Lions Club.

Our formal Charter was approved on 22nd June 2010,  and the Charter Night celebration was held on November 19 2010 at the Starlight Centre, Taylors Lakes Hotel.

Through a highly visible approach, Taylors Lakes Lions Club works to achieve common goals supporting community based projects and raising funds for our community (and beyond), with an attitude of fun, enjoyment and comradery. We seek partnerships with others to enable and enhance our work and to give our work further strength and purpose.

Our Meetings

Business meetings, on 2nd Monday of the Month,  will be at  the meeting room at rear  St Lukes Church, 3 Eagle Terrace(corner Bellbird Avenue), Taylors Lakes, at 6:30pm for 7:00 start.  The Board meets at 8pm,following the Projects and Activities meeting.         

Dinner meetings are on the 4th Wednesday of the month,  from 6:30pm. Dinner meetings are conducted at local cafes and restaurants, with 2 or 3 guest speaker dinner meetings each year (usually conducted at the Atrium at Taylors Lakes Hotel).        

New members will be made most  welcome.    Check the "NEWS" page for details of recent events and the "Join Now" page for further details to assist you in joining our club.


Activities are initiated and coordinated by our members.    Funds raised from the public are returned to the public.  Our fundraising activities:

2010 - First inductions at sponsoring club Essendon

Membership is open to all people of the community in good standing.
